The photo studio is located at:
Sector 22

Te Aro, Wellington

There is lift and stairs access to the studio.
If the front door to the building isn't open, please call / text / DM Stef.
Once on Level 3, Sector 22 is on the right hand side (opposite Peter Shakes Jewellry).
Stef's Star Shots operates at a cool studio hub where other creatives of the Sector 22 team also work. Please be respectful of the artistic spaces, and be mindful of your surroundings.
NOTE: There might be Sector 22 members working during your photo session and may make a bit of noise do to the nature of their crafts. Please mention in advance if you have any sensory sensitivities or prefer a private session without other people present (other than your own party).
Your safety, comfort, and enjoyment of the Star Shots experience is a priority!
** S T A R S H O T S : photoshoot info **
Before your appointment, be sure to have selected all backdrops to include in your session per the booking form. Your photoshoot will be set when I reply back to your booking request with an email confirming date / time, AND i have received your $20 deposit via bank transfer.
If you need to make any changes to your photoshoot specifications, that's no problem at all. Just shoot me an instagram DM @stefstarshots or email stefstarshots@gmail.com as early as possible so I can accomodate your requests as best as possible.
PRO - TIPs:
If you are in a group, the session works really well if your clothing aesthetics are cohesive
(ie: complementary colours, similar style vibes).
Try to stay away from busy patterns and graphics / texts (unless it's intentional of course).
You are absolutely welcome to wear whatever you are comfortable in and what is in line with your own personal expression :)
Star Shots poses involve a hands on experience with me (the photographer) and you (the participants). I will be directing you through different poses to achieve the quintessential Star Shots aesthetic. With your consent, I may physically touch your head, hands, and shoulders to guide you in the desired poses. Please know you do not have to perform anything in which you are not comfortable. If you have mobility issues that might keep you from achieving certain poses, feel free to message me privately.
The more into it you are the better! Star Shots are meant to be fun, silly, and a bit cheesy. Most of all, they are memories to last a lifetime <3
PHOTOS USAGE:
Enjoy sharing your star shots on your social media, websites, prints, whatever (someone's mom even made coasters!).
Please also share the love and tag @stefstarshots where possible. This helps spread the word and promote my humble lil' venture. Real ones don't gate-keep 😘
Here's a verbose explanation of rights to the photos:
As the author of all images made hereunder and as provided for by law, The Photographer(s) shall retain the copyrights in perpetuity, regardless of possession or ownership of negatives, photographs, digital files or any other format of reproduction.
Use by The Client: The parties agree that The Client may use the images created hereunder for the specific purposes of promoting its own interest without limitation. This includes, but is not limited to: use of the images in printed materials, websites, signage, audio/visual presentations and public-relations distribution to media outlets for their editorial use.
Use by The Photographer: The parties agree that The Photographer(s) may use the use the images created hereunder for self-promotional or educational purposes without limit to medium, date or geographic location.The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Photographer(s) for any legal action arising from a third party as the result of The Client’s use of the images created under this agreement.
